rita, she's 93. >> she provides us with cool treasures during the summer season? >> we could honor her with that. >> i wanted to honor you, miss rita, it's 60 degrees this morning. i showed you that put it in perspective. what a huge spread, at the elementary school, it's 39 degrees. that is a big difference. but in just baltimore county, we have 47, and 50 by the water. we're looking at temperatures today that will not be responding to the winds but the sun. we have a light breeze and it's brought back a light chill. we're looking at a good morning in low to mid-40s. crisp to 50 by the bay. we're looking for a nice warmup. with lunchtime temperatures at 63, we're aiming for high of 68. cooler than yesterday but we'll get back. let's go to the roads. >>> earlier accident 295 at 198 is now out of the way. we're doing pretty well on the beltway. there is near 795, no issues to report. both loops are moving pretty well. 95 at the tunnel we have two lanes closed. that's bore one that is closed, bore 4 northbound is closed due to signal problems. drive times are doing okay so far. >>> w

assaulted a girl. police tell us the girl was near the 1500 block of leslie street and was asking for directions last weekend. this is a file picture of what they believe the van to look like. investigators say the girl got into the van and that's when officers say the man and several others began assaulting her. call metro crimestoppers at 866- 7-lockup if you know anything about what happened. >>> harford county authorities want you to keep your eyes peeled for a person responsible for what they believe is involved in an attempted abduction a14-year-old was walking to the bus stop near cardinal way when he was approached by a person in a black van. it's commercial work van with tinted front windows and no back windows. if you have any information, you are asked to call the harford county sheriff's department as quickly as possible. >>> we are involving a developing story -- following a developing story. top unions are telling the city to leave the occupy baltimore crew alone. sherrie johnson is live downtown with details. >> reporter: good morning. all new information this morni

there and it will be impacting us. looking at the temperatures after peeking out near 70, near midnight. we have had winds over 20 miles per hour and temperatures will be struggling and need to get back to the low 60s. falling to the 50s and winds could be pushing 40 miles per hour. let's see if it's impacting your commute. >> we have some debris on 95 south and a broken down car before the beltway. let's look at the live traffic cameras, it's near 795. outer loop getting some volume, that's the oncoming traffic. inner loop is moving well. the beltway is a little bit of volume there in both directions, but nothing to worry about. it's a smooth ride. our drive times are doing all right. 83 southbound, 95, that takes you about 7 minutes, getting some volume. 795 to 70 takes you 7 minutes. >>> the reason montgomery says that a man killed his 12-year- old step daughter. details now coming out in court. >> reporter: prosecutors say that the 42-year-old married a vietnam woman, when she wanted a divorce, he killed her daughter. detectives were able to zero in after matching his dna and found boot impressions that wa

that it's unreasonable for 1 percent of the country to hold most of the wealth and the rest of us are suffering and the gap between the 99% and 1% is growing expee densely. and that means -- expee densely. people like my parents who have good jobs are suffering and they can't -- they have their jobs with you are -- but are in debt and have mortgages and aren't making as much. it splits people apart and puts stress in people's relationships and everything is falling apart in everybody's lives because of it. >> reporter: you have been here for three weeks. what is the plan? how long are you going to stay? >> we will stay until we can't stay any longer. if they make us leave we will go somewhere else but this is not failing apart. it's not just -- falling apart. it's not just occupy baltimore it's occupy everywhere. we are connected to the live feeds from oakland and san francisco and in solidarity with them in showing support. >> reporter: we see the sign you have occupy this plaza. you have your tents and food and computer and some people say i guess they were you know the 99% why

. this is southbound traffic will be with a few cars as they make their way toward cold spring lane. you can follow us on twitter. our drive times are doing fine as well. if you are traveling 95, that is six minutes. bel air to providence six minutes as well this is where it happened 3 miles south of south bend, indiana. >> new information coming out about this crash. eyewitness accounts suggest the minivan may have hit a deer and then slowed or stopped in the eastbound lanes. seven people in that minivan died at the scene. three others were taken to area hospitals. the driver of the tractor trailer was also hospitalized. none of the victim timmons names have been released. the truck had wisconsin tags. now both vehicles ended up in the center median, blocking traffic in both directions. no other vehicles were involved in that accident, which was reported shortly before 5:00 p.m. on thursday. the crash was rezoned just before midnight. sherrie johnson. >>> look for updates on this story and new video. >>> this morning a young man is in custody in connection with the murder of a church caretaker. seven

in towsen at the scene of the crime. what can you tell us about it this morning? >> reporter: when this happened, at first police thought it was a robbery gone bad. porter owned this fas station when the gunman shot and killed him. it turned out to be more than that. the man accused of killing ray porter will go on trial. jury selection is set to begin this morning in harford circuit court. the trial got moved there because of the nature of the case. walter bishop is accused of killing ray porter in a murder i for hire scheme. he faces the death penalty if convicted. bishop confessed to killing porter. he says porter's wife promised to pay him a couple of hundred bucks to kill her husband. carla is facing the death penalty sp goes on trial next year for her role in the plot. 6 people were implicated in the case. carla's sister, brother and nephew were arrested and charged. walter bishop's trial is the fist in maryland to go to death penalty case since the law got revamped. jury selection is set to begin this morning in harford county circuit court. >>> incredible people skills but

information that led them to search the parks. county and state police used atvs, horses and tracking dogs. he was last seen two weeks ago. his mother, jane mcquain was found stabbed to death in their germantown condo and the police have arrested her ex-husband, curtis lopez and charged her with her murder. but there's still no sign of william. >> the hope is that he is still alive. but we're using teams and people experienced when the person is deceased. >> reporter: now the two parks that were searched over the weekend were a few miles from william's house. investigators say they're still developing all leads in this case. >>> baltimore county police are searching for a suspect in a triple shooting that happened on the 500 block of main street. a fight broke out and spilled into a street and someone in a vehicle simply opened fire. they were all taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. and another person suffered a leg injury. >>> three men are recovering after being stabbed in the seahorse in on saturday night. the men were taken to the hospital listed serious condition. >>
